A family story about a young man and a gassed, blinded horse in the First World War is passed down through generations and resurfaces in the present, when a sibling's bedroom is visited by what seems to be a ghost horse. The narrators search the internet, history and their own memories to work out what, if anything, the inherited story is really about.
